7 Day Plan for Families

I know that when I go on vacation, more often than not, I don’t want to spend a lot of time figuring out what to do. For that reason, I put together a 7 day itinerary for families vacationing in Sea Isle or some other Cape May beach location. Check it out and I hope it helps you plan your next vacation.

Skimmer Weekend in Sea Isle City, NJ

For those of you who have never experienced Skimmer Weekend in Sea Isle City, all I can say is that you should!!! Skimmer Weekend, which is one of the busiest weekends in Sea Isle consists of three days of fun filled activities across the Island.

This year it starts on June 16th, Friday evening, with a Dance Contest at JFK Blvd and the Promenade. There are five age groups and the contest begins at 7:00 PM. Saturday, which is the most popular, has a food court with live entertainment at JFK Blvd between Landis Ave. and the Promenade, along with a seaside market up and down the Promenade. This is a day of fun for all.< /p>

Saturday evening is a dance party for families of all ages. On Sunday there is a sandsculpting contest from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM, and Antique car show on the Promenade from 9:00AM until 1:00 PM with live music, and Free Guided Trolley Tours of the Island from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM at JFK & Landis Ave. At 1:30 PM there is an Antique Car Parade.

Sea Isle City Real Estate Bargains

Sea Isle City real estate has recently changed from a sellers market to a buyers market. Properties that have had a long run of double digit appreciation for many years is now adjusting and prices are coming down. With the excess of inventory and buyers standing in the background watching to see what is going on, the market is now very favorable for buyers. So come on down and see what your options are. You won’t be disappointed.

Bicycle Rental

I recently wrote that the two bicycle rentals in town were being developed and I was not sure if or where you would be able to rent bicycles. I found out last weekend that you can now rent bicycles behind Diamond’s Liquor Store at JFK Blvd and Landis Ave. Surreys and other bicycles can still be enjoyed by all.
