If you’ve ever traveled to Florida, you may not know about the Panhandle and northern Gulf Coast region, as it’s not nearly as popular as Orlando, Miami or the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Just recently I took a trip to the Village of South Walton and absolutely fell in love with it. In fact, it’s completely different than the rest of Florida, and in good ways. For example, on the northern Gulf Coast of Florida you will find significantly less humidity and the temperatures aren’t nearly as stifling as the lower portions of Florida.

Also, the sands are white, the oceans calm and crystal clear blue, and it still retains the feeling of untouched paradise. If you’re looking for a different sort of vacation in Florida, I can’t recommend this area highly enough.
